INDIVA at Kerala State Media Awards Event By Vijay Dalwani Of Harmony Events & Talent

The Government of Kerala organized every year a state media award ceremony in which the government awarded every field of media. It's a huge honor for the media industry to get this award.

It is said that the media is the fourth pillar of democracy, because it keeps the people aware of the political turmoil on one hand, and it pressurizes the political leaders to show accountability to the people on the other. Today, in India the face of the media has changed a lot, and in fact, many times it has proved its efficiency. The media is actively involved in national-level affairs relating to social justice, law and order, constitution, and many other things.

Many times the media has played an extremely positive role by creating a public opinion towards a thing.

A Mumbai-based all-woman musical band INDIVA performed at this event ceremony which was held in Tagore theater. INDIVA is India’s Leading All-Diva-Band blend their unique styles and talents encompassing the elements of nature… Wind.Earth…Water..and Fire!! into their Sound of Music, performed. They fuse the rich diversity of their land into folk music with a world-fusion musical interpretation.

Their special musical journey began as friends jamming together. Vivienne and Merlin were part of a Theatrical music production; this bonding gave way to many more musical spells and over the years their comfort grew wide to welcome and embrace another vocalist with Hindustani and Carnatic leanings. An Instrument with a unique sound that could crossover both western and Indian sounds came as an additional gift and with Shruti and Chandana INDIVA completes the circle and Prism of Light making them unique.

They all play a role in not just being “Vocal” about their brand of music but also “Instrumental” about it.

The two-hour-long music program began with the Kathak dance performance by Aditi Bhagat. Aditi also performed Lavani. Their performance was based on the theme Celebrating Womanhood. This event was attended by Kerala chief minister and several dignitaries.

This event was executed by Vijay Dalwani and his company Harmony Events & Talent which is a well-known company in the event industry.
