The Real Woman Awards – By Vijay Dalwani – Harmony Talent

This women's day, Vijay Dalwani of Harmony Events & Talent, along with UBSC, organized this very unique event for recognizing the contribution of women entrepreneurs of from Construction Industry.

The Indian construction industry is one of the biggest industry but has only 8% women workforce and this scenario is due to the general view or perception of people that construction is a male dominated or male centric industry.  Vijay Dalwani and UBSC thought of changing this perception and curated this awesome event called “The Real Woman Awards”.

This event was conducted by Vijay Dalwani and his company Harmony Events & Talent on women's day 8th march 2021 at Mumbai where the award ceremony was attended by several dignitaries and celebrities.

Vijay Dalwani has been in the events industry since 25 to 30 years now, managing world class events for various corporates, weddings and musical concerts. Company of Vijay Dalwani, Harmony Events is a well know name in the industry.  The Real Woman Awards was so successful only because of the vast experience Vijay Dalwani has in managing and designing such events.


Vijay Dalwani also presented the vote of thanks at the event where he announced that this concept of recognizing the women entrepreneurs of construction industry and other segments will keep on continuing and Vijay Dalwani with UBSC will be holding such programs every 3 months in various cities.

The Real woman awards was attended by Bollywood actress Mahekk Chahal, Mrs. West India, Vibhuti Pandey and a host of other dignitaries from the real estate world.


Mahekk Chahal also spoke to the media and digital bloggers about how well this concept was designed by Vijay Dalwani and his team with UBSC and how Vijay Dalwani is a know name in the industry of events.

Senior architect and a well know name, Mr. Reza Kabul also attended the event along with other special guests.  Mr. Hemant Prabhukeluskar from Nidar Group, Mr. Mukesh Jaitley from Kolte Patil Developers, Ms. Alpa Shikre, Mr. Amar Tendulkar from Mahindra and many more were present.


Event was sponsored by Panasonic and co-sponsored by RR kabel.  Mr. Dinesh Aggarwal, Jt. MD of Panasonic also appreciated the effort of Vijay Dalwani and UBSC to design this event.  He also told Vijay Dalwani that Panasonic will always be supporting such initiatives and that he would personally get involved in helping gain more recognition for women entrepreneurs of the industry. Ms. Kirti Kabra of RR Kabel also appreciated Vijay Dalwani and Harmony Events about this amazing event.


Mrs. Vibhuti Pandey, reigning Mrs. West India also came specially from Pune to support this fantastic event of Vijay Dalwani and UBSC.  She spoke about how important it is to support women empowerment and how great thought Vijay Dalwani and UBSC had to think of doing such an event.

Fundraiser event was organized for the help of the families of our soldiers who were martyred in the Uri attack. In 2016 the grenade attacks were carried out by four terrorists near the town of Uri in Jammu and Kashmir. It was reported as "the deadliest attack on security forces in Kashmir in two decades".
